Amsteel tape is a custom designed multi purpose fabric/kevlar tape. Designed to protect your amsteel from metal contact or abrasion. Black with white letters offers a camo look to as well.
This tape was designed to be small in size in order to easily wrap around amsteel or through holes to protect your hunting gear.
Our favorite use of this tape is to combine the friction loop and tender loop of our USA series of gear! This eliminates the need for a castration band, protects the loops from damage, and gives a nice open style loop to put over the versa button. One roll is enough to cover 5 USA's with a couple feet to spare for emergencies!

Love it , does what is intended
I have had time to use this on a few one stick climbs and after a little bit of a learning curve it is a light, packable, convenient way to get higher with less moves.
To prevent rope fraying on Trophyline Hyperlite sticks, I purchased this tape. However, upon installation, some of the tape did not adhere to the sticks. To resolve this issue, I used a lighter to slightly heat the tape, reapplied pressure, and successfully resolved the problem.
