I had intended to use it with a Tethrd HYS strap for a bow hanger. It seems too small for hanging a $1000 bow 15-20 feet off the ground-too likely to be bumped off the hanger. I'll try and use it for something smaller off my saddle. Part appears to be well made and rated for adequate strength for hanging a bow.

It would even be better if there was a little peice of felt or rubber, so it's not metal on metal with the bow. But besides that works perfectly and love it.
